Think all cooling fans are the same? Think again...
Those that install a front mount and a monster turbo on their car are all faced with the question of what fan to use because their stock puke tank has to be tossed as well as more clearance will be needed around the turbo's outlet area. Don't be fooled by some front mount "kits" that offer a slim-line fan claiming they are hi-flowing. This is the real deal and not a cheapo depot fan that is usually offered for the sake of making the front mount kit look attractively priced...if the kit even includes a fan. Especially useful for those front mount guys that wish to retain their AC condensor as this fan will pull air right through that thick front mount core, through the condensor, and right into your radiator where it belongs orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............. for those that just generally
want to keep their temps in You say that clearance is of your main concern? This fan will give you plenty of clearance as they measure in at just over 3.25" in height at the motor and gradually taper down to only 1" high at the perimeter of the cage. The perfect size for your DSM, this curved blade, 12" SPAL features low noise, long life, superb construction, and able to pump out a TRUE 1360 CFM! How much flow is that? Let's just say that if you have your hood up, and you're standing next to the car, you'd be able to dry your hair when the fan kicks on. Those with hair down to your ass, it may take a little longer.
Go ahead......compare......we'll be seeing you soon.
$179.00 SPAL 12" High-Performance Fan WITH metal bracket install kit Note: We include ONLY the mandatory metal bracket install kit as the cheaper, universal plastic kits are not recommended for these hi-performance fans. If you don't mind bending the crap out of your radiator fins because of the monster torque generated by these SPAL fans at start-up, then toss your brain and go plastic. |
