FLYWHEELS

Fidanza Flywheels are made using the highest quality, most modern materials available. The flywheel itself is made from 6061 T6. All of these materials are tempered aluminums which are very strong yet very lightweight. The special replaceable friction surface used is an extreme duty 1050 high carbon, alloy steel! What's the advantage? This allows the user to use just about any clutch disc material available from organic to Kevlar and even sintered iron.  It is attached using aerospace quality nuts and bolts which were chosen because of their incredible shear strength and resistance to corrosion. They also feature heat treated ring gears for durability. They are heated, pressed on and then secured using grade 10 fasteners. Gone are the days of trashing those high-buck integral ring gear flywheels because it's teeth have gotten chewed. Weighing in at only 8 pounds (about a third less than stock), expect quicker acceleration, decreased spool-up time, and longer engine life. Even 6 new pressure plate bolts are provided. LOTS of bang for the buck!

Weighing in at 12 pounds, and affordably priced, there is now no excuse to keep your stocker. The XACT "Streetlite" flywheel is forged chromoly, heat treated, and balanced. Wondering if you can resurface it if you happen to burn up your clutch? Yep....you sure can. This wheel is good for those that need a little extra inertia (weight) for their application, but still want the quick revs and strength this ACT can give you.
