CGB-1000
If Batman knew about this stuff when his car was being built, he would have kicked our ass for the recipe.
CGB-1000 is a break-through coating capable of providing extremely high levels of thermal protection in a very thin film. It can withstand substrate temperatures of over 1700°F and an environmental temperature of 2000°F! In addition, direct flame will not cause delamination. CGB-1000 is designed to protect and insulate exhaust system components. Testing has shown that CGB-1000 is capable of maintaining adhesion at temperatures in excess of 1800°F. CGB-1000 produces a very hard, smooth, chemical resistant, durable, color stable finish.
PROPERTIES • Thermal Shock: Survives thermal cycling 1055F to 32F • Applied Film Thickness: .001"-.0015" • Corrosion Resistance: Excellent. Resists all acids, solvents, and most chemicals • Flexibility/Bending Adhesion: 180 degree full load forward and reverse • Thermal Temperature Resistance: Survives base metal temps in excess of 1700F. Handles short blasts to 2000F
The coatings in the past can't keep up with specs like this! Truly a breakthrough in exotic coating technology!
We did the shiny silver stuff years ago. So what happened to it? Although ceramics do exhibit fantastic thermal barrier qualities (and still remains to be the Number One coating of choice in the country...mostly because of its bling factor) use of it with turbo car exhaust manifolds REALLY put the coating to the test...color stability was rather weak (it would look like galvanized steel after a short period of time) plus, the highest temp it could be subjected to was around 1300°F skin temperature with a maximum of 1600°F exhaust gas temps running through it. Now folks, a turbo car's EGT after a sik spirited quarter-mile blast can easily hit 1700 degrees and beyond. Soooooooooo....not wanting to accept a compromise just because our weapon of choice is turbocharged meth missiles, it was time to look for alternative methods of not only having a stable thermal barrier on exhaust manifolds, but a coating that would ALSO offer very high corrosion resistance with rock solid color stability. We have found it with CGB-1000. The best of both worlds!
We don't limit ourselves to just factory parts but if you have something particular in mind (from dump tubes to wastegate housings), and within allowable dimensions, we probably can do it! Even ZTR lawnmower exhausts! The pieces pictured here are just a sampler plate. Use your imagination and email for a price quote.
YOU SAY YOU WANT X-TREME HEAT CONTROL? Wraps are ugly and actually promotes cracking of the part by trapping moisture...heat shields get in the way and does absolutely nothing for the longevity and appearance of the part.
Enter: CGB "DUAL STAGE"
This is the epitome of exhaust coating technology. No other shop offers a dual stage coating process because either of the extra work involved or they didn't know it was even possible. Well, it is possible and we do it!
Single stage ceramics...so called "turbo coatings", spray plasma, and colorful fashion statements cannot hold a candle to our dual stage procedure. Not biased...just fact.
Our Dual Stage coating process will further enhance and amplify the insulative properties of CGB-1000. First stage: TBC Second stage: CGB-1000 TBC is purely an insulative barrier that goes on before the CGB-1000 top coat. Very dull...very ugly...but very powerful. Simply put, what this does is boosts up not only the thermal barrier ability of the part, but to elevate the part's ability to withstand temperatures by up to 300°F! What this means is NOW you can now have an exhaust component withstand not 1700°F at the substrate level, but freakin' 2000°F plus! If your car is hitting EGT's past THIS level, then you must be peeling yourself off the seat with a spatula after a hard run. Just one more layer of protection for those that REALLY want to keep that heat contained. The best of the best.

FORCED PERFORMANCE RACE MANIFOLD "PLUS"
Picking up where FP left off.
Customers made us cringe! YES...THAT'S RIGHT...WE SAID IT. WHY? Being as we've had many customers send us their FP Race manny for our coating process, then purchase our gasket kit and bolts to fit it (often at different times), it made us cringe much like seeing grape juice stains on a new party dress. It is completely ridiculous to have you guys spend all that money at one place then spend more at another in order to have a kickass part. Not to mention the transit time invested. Also, doing that kind of stuff just gives the UPS boys more of a chance to play football with your manifold. And we don't want to increase THOSE odds of a field goal.
Solution: No longer will you have to have to endure such a thing. You can now get it ALL right here! We've made this so tasty of a deal, that there will be absolutely no reason to buy it anywhere else. Unless you're the masochist type.
FFWD's FP Race "PLUS" Combis to the rescue! In slutty but effective fashion over here, we're ALSO offering this manifold at an incredible packaged price. It'll be like X-Mas everyday of the year! No waiting on sales...no waiting on crazy Black Friday specials...no more floating price structures that can change with the mood and/or wind. That's BS and games we do not subscribe to. You've come to know FFWD as the straight shooter without the fluff in this industry...and we're not stopping here.
What do you gain in doing this gig?
COMBI 2 Add one part Combi 1...add 9 parts of SS manny studs...stir and mix COMBI 2 is born! It's the entire greasy enchilada here folks! >burp<
Now, doesn't this look nice! Who wouldn't approve of this marriage???
Uncoated, untouched manny after one month of use. Do you really want this?
Need an EGT hole drilled and tapped? We've got your back...for a nominal fee of course. We use runner #2 for its location and sized for a 1/8" NPT probe. Ya want it? This option can be chosen in the racecart.
The Bottom Line: A Savings Of... Example: Purchase these parts separately in Combi 1 on any normal given day, and you would spend about 425 sugar smacks. Even more when you consider the shipping costs from FP to you...to us...then back to you. We won't insult your intelligence by telling you how much you can save. Do the math...click to buy!
