BABE OF THE WEEK

(B.O.W.)

Time to put the kiddies to bed...

CERAMICS

We can now offer you the benefits found in the Aluminum Ceramic Coating process. With the increased heat that turbocharged vehicles generate, this exterior coating lends itself well to cast exhaust manifolds, tubular headers, turbine housings, and O2/Eliminators.

Headers? We absolutely love 'em, but have you ever felt the blistering heat that radiates off of them after a spirited fun drive? If your hand gets too close, it will feel like you just touched the sun's surface without an oven mitt. Ceramic coating will decrease those crazy underhood temps that emanate from these stainless firecrackers.

We don't limit ourselves to just factory parts but anything you have in mind (from dump tubes to headers), we possibly can do it! The pieces pictured here are just a sampler plate. Use your imagination and email for a price quote.

Aluminum Ceramic Coating also provides sacrificial corrosion protection against over 1,000 hours of salt spray exposure. The coating provides galvanic protection by acting as an sacrificial anode relative to the substrate. The aluminum-ceramic matrix provides continuous protection up to 1,200 ° F (650 ° C) and will endure intermittent exposure to 1,500 ° F (815 ° C).

What does this mean for you?

  • THERMAL BARRIER PROPERTIES REDUCE RADIANT TEMPERATURE
  • HIGH ABRASION RESISTANCE
  • INCREASED GAS VELOCITIES WHICH RESULTS IN FASTER SPOOL-UP
  • AVERAGE DROP OF 33% IN UNDERHOOD TEMPERATURE
  • HORSEPOWER GAINS AVERAGING 2% FROM INCREASED GAS VELOCITY

  • ITS "CHROME-LIKE" FINISH LOOKS FANTASTIC UNDER THE HOOD!

$100.00 Ceramic Coating of your Cast Exhaust Manifold

$175.00 Ceramic Coating of your Header

$60.00 Ceramic Coating of your Turbine Housing

$50.00 Ceramic Coating of your O2/Eliminator

For the technically curious...
